So I haven't been shot yet. Actually Pittsburg and Bay Point aren't as ghetto as everyone says. I think that Bay Point is probably worse than Pittsburg though. A few years back Bay Point was part of Pittsburg - they called it West Pittsburg. I guess it got so bad that they cleaned it up a bit and renamed it Bay Point to try and give it a "fresh start". It's still pretty scary today. Now they call it Gun Point instead of Bay Point! Well the work is going well. Things have been so busy this transfer that I haven't had time to write. We are teaching 6 investigators now. When we first go here there was 3, so we've done good. We are teaching the most awesome couple - Jerry and Martha Howe. Jerry is going to be baptized on April 17th. Martha is Catholic and doesn't see the need to be baptized again...yet. She is the cutest Nicaraguan lady. She believes the Book of Mormon is true (and reads it regularly), she knows Joseph Smith was a prophet, and she never misses a day at church! It is just really hard for her to let go of her Catholic roots. It is the way that she has lived her whole life. We are going to watch General Conference at their house with them tomorrow.
