December 27, 2010
I can't believe that another Christmas is over! It really flew by. For some reason, this year it didn't even seem like Christmas. It was good to talk to the family but also a little depressing. The next time I talk to them will be in person. I'm sad/nervous that my mission is almost over, but I still have plenty of time to work hard. So on Christmas morning me and Elder Wickel got up and went for a Christmas day run. It was great. It was super foggy! After the run we got ready for the day and E. Wickel made us all breakfast. It was the best breakfast ever! He made biscuits and gravy (which I didn't think that I liked) and it was amazing. We did our studies, then opened our presents from our families and a few gifts that the ward members gave us. Then we called home. After our calls we made cookies to deliver to people alone on Christmas. Then we ate Christmas dinner (@ 1:00 pm) at the Hill's. I love the Hill's. We teacher their friend Bill Fisher at their house twice a week. Sis. Hill is an excellent cook and we had a good time. After that we spent the rest of the day making visits.
