We took Jerry Howe to the temple today to do baptisms for his first time. It was a good experience - he had a good time. I love being up on Temple Hill. There is a great spirit there. After we fought the traffic on the way home from Oakland (Bay Area traffic is horrible!) we had an AMAZING lesson with our investigator Alan. Alan is so sincere. He's the coolest black guy I've ever taught. He reads the Book of Mormon and all the pamphlets that we give him like crazy! Tonight we taught him the Plan of Salvation, and the night before he read the Plan of Salvation pamphlet, so he pretty much taught us the lesson! Our ward mission leader - Bro. Conover, came with us. It was a great lesson. The gospel truths that we have are wonderful! It is such a blessing to be able to share these truths with my brothers and sisters here in the Bay Area.
