Today was a great day. We started off with a lesson at 10:00 am with a family that we accidentally found! E. Wickel and E. Campbell tried to contact a former investigator on exchanges earlier this week - but he moved. Instead of talking to the former investigator they talked to Sylvia Santamaria. They set an appointment and this morning was our 1st lesson. It went really well. After our lesson with her we drove up to Lafayette to teach Veronica. She is doing so good! She has amazing faith. Her family has kicked her out of her house, cut off all financial aid, and told her not to talk to them. So she is living at the Vanhooven's full time. She is so excited to be baptized. At our lesson we talked about blessings of keeping the commandments. It was great because Alexa McCracken came to help us teach. Alexa and Veronica are 2 of the biggest miracles I've seen on my mission. They are really helping each other along, and supporting each other as they both learn. It was a great lesson. So things are going good. Last week we had our New Years Eve Party as a zone. President chose 5 movies and we voted on 2 to watch that night. Our zone watched Toy Story 3, and How to Train Your Dragon. It was a fun night.
