Today was a great day! I got to go back to San Francisco today to go to Zoe Rookare and Maddie Icke's baptisms. It was great to go back. They were both miracle baptisms! Zoe just showed up at church one day by herself. THe first lesson we had with her was on Oct. 13th and a month later (today) she was baptized! She brought her friend to the baptism and she liked it and agreed to take the missionary lessons. Maddie was also a miracle baptism. When me and Elder Anderson were both now, we sat down with Bishop Hoyt and went through the ward list. He felt impressed to sent us to the Miles' house. We dropped by over and over but was never able to contact them. E. Anderson went home then E. Kesler came and we continued to try to contact them. Finally we caught them home - and they were so prepared! Sis. Miles (the less active mom) was happy to see us and immediately told us that her daughter (Maddie) hasn't been baptized yet, and she wants her to take the lessons. So the family came back to church, and Maddie got baptized today. The Lord works in mysterious ways! People are prepared and ready to hear the gospel - we just need to find them. Whether it's through the internet or an inspired Bishop we will be led to those that the Lord has prepared.
