Yesterday was Alexa McCracken's baptism! It was a great baptism service. I had the opportunity to be the one to baptize her. It was a neat experience. It has been awesome to teacher her. It was a neat experience. It has been awesome to teach Alexa and to watch her change and grow in just a months time! It was neat to see the Lord work through Alexa's friend Brooke (who is currently on her mission in Germany) as she invited her to come to church with her. By that small and simple invitation came a miracle! Alexa is one of the most prepared investigators that I have ever taught!
Veronica (our other super amazingly prepared investigator) came to the baptism. (Veronica is going to be baptized on Jan 15) Veronica's friend (Brianna Vanhooven) who introduced her to the church is leaving for school in 3 days, but at the baptism last night, Veronica and Alexa really seemed to hit it off, and looks like they'll be great friends. They are both miracles! The first time we ever taught Veronica was on December 15th and she's scheduled for baptism on January 15th!
