This transfer has definitely been unique. We switched wards with our roommates - so last transfer (when we were in CV1) we heard all about Concord 2nd ward's investigator's from our roommates. Then this transfer we switched so we are teaching our roommates former investigators and they are teaching ours. We also meet in the same church building so we see people we know from our old ward all the time! So last transfer we always heard of an investigator named Doug Adams that our roommates taught. He always had really odd questions that didn't seem very sincere. Now this transfer we've taught him a few times, and tonight was an intense lesson. Doug is a high school Bible teacher and "loves to bash in a nice way". He doesn't believe that you can receive answers from God by feelings. He reads anti material and asks us the strangest questions. We are not clear what his motive are. We've always taught the basics - praying to know the truth and receiving an answer through the BoM. Tonight he told us that he believes the BoM is inspired by the devil. We ask "Why do you want to meet with us then?!" He said because he likes to hear about our beliefs. We told him that our calling and purpose is to baptize and teach those who have that desire.
