June 29, 2010

Well today was transfer day - and it was a crazy one. So transfers were interesting - me and E. Anderson are staying together but we are not in the South City Ward anymore. We are still covering the YSA ward but our new area is the Sunset Ward. So we moved from our South City apartment to San Francisco. The missionaries that took our spot in the SSF ward are sister missionaries. Since the North area of the South San Francisco ward covers bad parts of San Francisco, President asked us to redo the boundaries so that the sisters would be safe. So that was a pretty big responsibility to decide what area the missionaries would be serving in. So we had a neat experience as we prayed. WE had the map in front of us and said a prayer asking the Lord how we should divide this area. After we prayed we both knew that instead of splitting the ward into North and South areas we need to split it East and West. So the sisters have the coastal part of the city and Pacifica, and the Elders would cover the bad part of the city and cities south of SF. It was a neat experience and I know the missionaries will do well. So today (this morning) we went all the way to Walnut Creek to get surgery on my toe! I have had a nasty ingrown toenail, but we took care of it today!
