Hello Family!
Well I'm glad to hear that you had a wonderful Christmas, and it was really good to talk to you! We had a good Christmas. After our phone call, me and Elder Wickel made chocolate chip cookies, to give to some Elderly people who are alone on Christmas. After we made the cookies we went over to a family in the Concord 2nd ward (the Hill family), for Christmas dinner (but it was 1:00). I love the Hills. They are an older couple (in their 60's) but they had all their kids and grand kids over. they fed us an amazing Christmas feast! I was so full. I don't know if I've ever been as full! After the feast we went and delivered our cookies, and visited with older people in the ward. It was a good Christmas! The members here feed us sooooo much! our apartment is full of cookies and candy, and food! We also got a ton of socks this year! I love the Californian members.
Thank you for the package that you sent! I loved it. We are excited to listen to the conference talks.
So Alexa's baptism is in two days, and she is really excited! Out of all the people that I have ever taught she is defiantly one of the most prepared people! Veronica's baptism is also coming up, and she is just as prepared as Alexa! We started teaching Veronica on the 15th of December, and she is scheduled to be baptized on Jan 15th! She got scriptures (a quad) with her name engraved on it for Christmas! She came to church yesterday, and was so excited to show us!
So on New years eve, we are having a zone new years party. President picked 6 movies for us to vote on, and we get to watch 2. Our zone voted, and the winners are: Toy Story 3 and How to Train Your Dragon. So it will be fun. President just doesn't want us out on the street on new years eve night, because things can get pretty crazy!
So I have a favor to ask. Next week could you please email Seth, and Isaac's mission addresses to me? I feel like I need to write them. Also could you also email me Coach Allen's address? I would love to write him as well! Thank you!
Well family, i love you and hope that you have a happy new year!
-Elder Cook
