March 8, 2011

Well, here we go! I'm starting my last transfer of my mission. It is hard to believe. It has been a roller coaster of emotions, and I can't believe it's almost over. We got transfer calls on Saturday and me and E. Neiufi are both staying! I was really glad. E. Neiufi is a great companion and I'm glad that I'm ending my mission with him. We have a baptism coming up this weekend! Nio Fale'ofa will be baptized on March. 12th. He is solid. He has really turned his life around and is truly converted! On Sunday after gospel principles class he talked to us for a few minutes. He bore his testimony and broke down in tears. It was humbling to see a huge tough Tongan guy bear a sincere testimony. Nio is awesome and is so excited to be baptized. Today we found a new investigator. Her name is Loleta Liu. She is Vika Liu's sister-in-law! I know Vika from the Pittsburg 1st ward. I baptized Tui - Vika's niece. It was a good 1st lesson. We had some good lessons today with less active people, then taught Sione tonight at the Lata's house. It was a good day. I noticed today that I'm getting chubby again. We ate L and L Hawaiian BBQ again for dinner. Members feed us L and L probably twice a week and it's making me fat!
