Things have been well. Matt Garcia is super solid, and is ready to be baptized on Oct. 9! Our other investigators are doing good. We taught our investigator William Watson today. He's awesome. He is an African-American, and he has scoliosis. He can't stand up straight. He is a very humble and sincere man. He calls us his angels and is grateful that God sent us to him. He is loving the Book of Mormon, and has a desire to do God's will. He is in a wheelchair and is super scared to come to church. He gets nervous in crowds. We've talked a lot about faith with him and trusting God to help us overcome our weakness. We set a goal with him to come to church on Oct. 10. The past few lessons we've brought Les Erickson, a member of the Sunset ward. Les is awesome. He is an active gay member (not practicing gay) and has a very strong testimony. He is very bold, and says it how it is!
