Being a ZL, there is no time to write in my journal anymore. Well things have been pretty good. Two weeks ago we started teaching Matt Garcia - our investigator. He was invited to meet with us by his friend Natalie Gomez. Natalie is somewhat less active (she is a focus) so we have been teaching her the missionary lessons. After every lesson we invited her to pray for someone that she could share the gospel with. So 2 weeks ago, a few hours before our lesson, she called and asked if it was o.k. if she could bring a friend to our lesson. So that night we met Matt. He is golden! The 2nd lesson we had we set a baptism date for October 9th. He loves meeting with us, because he really feels the spirit. He is coming to church for the first time tomorrow - he is really excited. Rex is also doing well. We set a baptism date for Sept. 25. He says if his questions get answered by then, then he will "absolutely" get baptized. Things are good! Yesterday we had the interviews with President. He asked how my testimony has grown on my mission, and I told him when I had been out for 2 months I was really struggling, but the Lord has answered my prayers - line upon line, and I know now more than ever that the church is true, and that Christ is my Savior.
