May 16, 2010

Today was a first. I finally rode BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) for the first time! Elder Watkins' investigator down in Fremont got baptized today so we got to travel down. So after church we left right after it ended, grabbed a quick lunch, then headed to the Pittsburg BART station. It took about 1 hour and 20 minutes to get to Fremont from Pittsburg. There were about 17 stops, at all the different stations along the way. It is cool how all the BART stations in the different cities, each have something unique about them - they are all different. It was also neat to see so much of the Bay Area all in one day. Most of it I haven't seen yet, because I've bee here in the Antioch area for almost a year! But I wouldn't have it any other way. I have loved it here. After the baptism we visited some of our investigators (Alan Matthews and Martha Howe) and I said goodbye.
