August 9, 2009

Today was a great day. We had a lesson with the Rodriguez family after church today. The Rodriguez's are totally active members (Sis. Rodriguez is the Young Women's president) but the apostles have asked us that we have at least 20 lessons a week and sometimes we have to teach the lessons to the members. It's good though (even though I'm not fond of it), because it helps us to improve our teaching skills and no matter how long you've been a member, a review of the basics is always good. Well, the lesson went really good. It actually turned into more of a discussion but the spirit was felt and I feel like during the lesson/discussion that we had, that a question that I've been struggling with was answered. My question! If this is God's true church, and you have to be baptized (by proper authority) and all that, then why are so many rejecting the gospel? Not even 1% of the world is LDS so is everyone else screwed? I feel like some of the answer to this question comes from the Plan of Salvation or the Plan of HAPPINESS. God wants all his children to be happy, and that's why he's prepared 3 different kingdoms. Some people will find their fullness of joy in the Celestial Kingdom while others will find it in the terrestrial (That is my conclusion. May not be doctrine) But in the end we will receive our reward.
