Letter to Home - September 28, 2009

Hey Family!

Things are goin' good! This week has been a bit of a struggle, but I find it amazing how the Lord helps us to grow. Last transfer, I felt like I learned a lot of things, and didn't even feel like a greenie anymore! But this transfer, I have been humbled, and see that I still have so much to learn. Sometimes God cuts us down or trims us a bit so that we can grow in the right ways. I'm learning SOOOO much from Elder Czerepinski. He has such a strong testimony, and knows the gospel so well. Sometimes while we are teaching I feel like I don't even need to talk, because I don't want to disrupt the spirit that Elder Cz brings in! I have a lot of learning to do!

Well, thank you so much for the package that you sent! I really love the ties! I liked the tape, and I hated it at the same time. I loved to hear all of your voices, but then I hated it at the same time. It was a weird emotion. This past week has been hard to stay focused with Tyson being home, and you seeing Sister Garrison and all that, but it's all good. I still can't believe that you met Sis Garrison!

Well the work couldn't be better! This area is doing great! We have quite a few investigators, a lot of potentials, and 2 baptism dates! Steve and Denise are progressing well. I just need to remember whose work this is, and trust in the Lord.

Well, I went to the chiropractor today, (he is a member, so it is all free!) and he said that he wants to take some x rays of my back, so we set up an appointment for next pday. I'm so grateful that he is doing this for me!

Well how is dad's heart! Let me know please!

I saw a quote the other day that I loved. It went something like - "I love sowing seeds, I prefer the harvest, but just serving in the Lords field is an amazing experience!" Missionary work is tough, but it really is a great experience.

I am excited for conference, and we hope to watch it with Steve or Denise, but if not, then we will watch it at the Stake Center, or at home with the Garrisons, because they get the BYU channel.

It hasn't cooled down at all here! The average temperature of this past week was 102! Its pretty toasty!

Well, I love you all so much! I truly have the best family I could ever have! Have a great week!
